Adhered to back of frame is a note reading: "University of Saskatchewan 1965 - Outline: A Canadian first was marked on Saturday (July 10) when 25 airplanes piloted by members of the Saskatchewan Flying Farmers Association landed at the University of Saskatchewan campus in Saskatoon, The 121 members visited the University for a day-long tour of crop science plots, agricultural engineering laboratory, irrigation research project, beef cattle research unit, and horticulture greenhouses. The family fly-in took place at a temporary airstip marked out on the University farm a mile from the main campus buildings. Planes came from points scattered across Saskatchewan including Broadview, Cardross, Swift Current, Kinistino, Landis, Rosetown, Eston, Briercrest and Bracken (near U.S. border)"
