Abstract
An interview with Tom Morgan, who has been living in Riversdale neighbourhood of Saskatoon since 1989. Mr. Morgan is an active member of the Riversdale community—he is involved in several clubs and volunteers frequently at community events. Mr. Morgan is also a Legion member and a volunteer at the St. Thomas Wesley United Church. He has held various positions in the Riversdale Community Association (RCA), a volunteer organization whose purpose is to represent the members of this community by trying to enhance the quality of life for the residents by working toward building a neighbourhood that is peaceful, just, and green. Being such an active person in the community, Tom Morgan has developed strong relationships with many people in his community. The interview includes the discussions of the different roles Mr. Morgan plays in the Riversdale community, his view of the community and the existing stereotypes about the area of 20th Street. Mr. Morgan is very adamant about breaking these stereotypes.
