Abstract
Image of thirteen members of the Women's Co-operative Guild standing on a small stage in a legion hall for a service or ceremony. They appear to be singing or reciting from small leaflets. Three women are wearing ribbons around their necks. One woman is holding a candle in her right hand. Details include additional candles resting on a table covered in lace cloth, two flags, stacking chairs, a photograph of Queen Elizabeth II, and a large emblem for the Canadian Legion of the British Empire Service League. A young man or boy sits with sheet music at a piano; balloons, small boxes, and a flower vase are visible on top of piano. "Co-op Guild" written on back of photo in blue ink. Note: the guild later changed its name to the Co-operative Women's Guild.
