Abstract
Image of three men working with plywood at lumber mill in Canoe, B.C. The mill was owned by Saskatchewan Federated Co-operatives Limited, which was formed in 1944. Caption reads: "The dark pieces being laid by the operator are glued both sides. The man behind the machine (right side) feeds the pieces into the glue machine and they pop out into the hands of the man laying the "sandwich." From a mirror (not shown) directly above the man laying the pieces, the chap on the other side of the machine can tell the exact width of piece required to complete the plywood." Written in pencil on back of photo: "Making the sandwich." 25x20
