Note
ALCOHOLISM IS NOT A VICE BUT RATHER A SICKNESS The world health organization announces that when cats are frightened while eating, they prefer to consume alcohol with their milk. The world health organization conducted 18.000 experiments to prove that alcoholism is a sickness, not a sin, and has its roots in psychological issues; during these experiments, 16 neurotic cats became alcoholics. Scientists gave frightened cats the choice between clean milk and a milk cocktail with alcohol, which was served in regular cocktail glasses. Ten of the cats immediately chose the alcoholic milk, and the other six learned quickly to choose the cocktail milk and to never try the milk in other glasses. However, once the scientists stopped frightening the cats while they were eating, the cats were no longer neurotic, gave up the alcohol and returned to drinking pure milk by their own free will.
Abstract
This is not a direct alcohol advertisement for any particular brand, but more of a public service announcement that raises awareness on alcoholism as a sickness. It discusses research on cats that suggests frightened and neurotic cats are more likely to drink milk with alcohol instead of regular milk. However, once the researchers stopped frightening the cats while they were eating, the cats returned to drinking normal milk. This may be eluding to the fact that alcoholism stems from psychological issues such as neuroticism, or some sort of fear or trauma. I suppose the goal was to try to end the stigma in Serbia that alcoholism was a person's purposeful wrongdoing and shed light on alcoholism as a disorder. There are no images.
