Learn how the best Aguardiente in the world is produced. Just as the scots have a secret in their waters to create the best Whisky in the world. AGUARDIENTE CRISTAL, also have its secret in the water. It is born from the surrounding mountains to the Ruiz of a calm stream called Miraflores. Its waters only supply the Industria Licorera de Caldas, and they sprout in the middle of an environment where only exists pure air and a well-conserved ecosystem any type of disruption or pollution. Through sophisticated industrial processes, the Miraflores waters are treated to obtain the purest water of Colombia, one of the raw materials to elaborate AGUARDIENTE CRISTAL. The sugar cane is used in all the inventions of Colombia. It is subjected to a series of processes where, in the end, the molasses are extracted. These are rigorously analyzed to determine if its composition fulfills the quality requisites demanded to become it in alcohol, before being sent to the distilleries. The molasses selected are sterilized in high temperatures to eliminate the possible pollution of the bacterias. The process of fermentation is carefully controlled, due to, it is one of the essential phases in the production of the Alcohol extra-neutral. Once the fermentation process has been completed, the alcoholic juices are distilled to obtain the extra-neutral alcohol that is used in the elaboration of the AGUARDIENTE CRISTAL. Finally, this alcohol is mixed with the purified water of the Miraflores stream, and the scent is added to obtain a product that you can taste with the tranquility and security of being drinking the best Aguardiente of the world: Cristal.
