M.L. wrestlers compete at North American Indigenous Games

Skyla Russell, Savanna Russell, Gabriel Regnier, and Parker Vandale-Nicchols are the focus of this article about the success of Team Sask in the 2017 NAIG wrestling competition. The Russell twins are also training partners; Skyla says in an interview that they got to travel to Las Vegas for their training to do cardio with U.S. Marines and she credits this training for their success. Her sister Savanna also mentions that she decided to push a weight class since her and her sister are the same and she didn't want to compete against her for a spot. The pair also credits their high school wrestling training for their spot in NAIG.
