Abstract
From exhibit sign: "Number boards are a locomotive's identification. Canadian National was known for its cast brass number boards which were mounted on the front of the locomotive under the headlight. Canadian National inherited this style of number board from the Canadian Northern. 2665 was a class N4d 2-8-0 built by Alco in 1907 as Grand Trunk 763 and scrapped in September 1961."
