Abstract
Letter from Eric Brown, director of the National Art Gallery in Ottawa, to A.W. Cameron, principal of Nutana Collegiate. Brown expresses interest in the Memorial Art Gallery, but dissuades Cameron from pursuing Tom Thomson's painting "The West Wind" because the National Art Gallery had intentions of purchasing it. He does, however, recommend looking at Thomson's "The Pointers" instead.
